Fresh Starts with Hair Cuttery

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Hair Cuttery Salons. All opinions are 100% my own.

There are two days left in 2015 — totally casual. It’s not too late to make a change though, even if it’s something as simple as playing around with your look. I love love love getting a new haircut around the holidays. It’s a nice way to freshen up your hair as the New Year approaches, and your hair will look that much better in all of your holiday pictures.

Because I was running short on time this year, I stopped by my nearest Hair Cuttery (seriously, there are at least five within 4 miles of my house). Finding a good stylist and salon can be overwhelming to me — let alone booking an actual appointment — but I like that Hair Cuttery takes much of the guesswork out for me. Plus, they have walk-ins, which is nice with a busy schedule.

Before Hair Cuttery
This is my before picture that my stylist Daisy snapped. My hair was totally feeling blah and dry. Not the best look, especially since I had two holiday parties that same day! Both of these parties were casual and didn’t require too much dressing up, but for some extra I opted for a wash, cut and blowdry. Usually that’s a splurge for me, but Hair Cuttery has always been an affordable option. (When my family still lived in Florida, I had a favorite stylist at Hair Cuttery that I always needed to visit.) By the time Daisy was done with me (around 30 minutes), my hair game felt on point…

I wore this to back-to-back holiday parties, but it’d be great for a dressy casual NYE too. I wanted something a little different from the traditional red or green, so I went with this food baby-proof peplum gold lace blouse (I just wish it had photographed better!). I added earrings and a y-necklace from some more glitz. I loved sporting a fresh blowdry at the parties though — I really didn’t have to worry about frizz or have to fuss with any pins or hair ties. Sure, it might not be a dramatic cut, but it made a huge impact in how I feel about myself as the end of the year approaches.

If you’re looking to spruce yourself up before the New Year, it’s not too late — Hair Cuttery can help a girl (and her wallet) out. Let me know how you plan to ring in 2016!
