Hi Autumn, nice to see you again… at least for now. As far as I’m concerned, ankle boot and cardigan season is more enjoyable than peacoat and riding boot season. Speaking of cardigans, after seeing these swingy, print cardigans around for a couple years, I finally have one in my closet thanks to Tobi.

Fall is my busiest season for my social calendar, between homecoming, cider festivals, apple picking and other classic fall activities. This means that I need want comfy and cute clothes that works for all of the above. So good thing this “school crush” cardigan goes with everything.

My first instinct is always to keep things simple. Black jeans and ankle boots (these are new and so comfy!) to go with the cardigan, and then a maroon sweater for some warmth and a seasonal pop of color. I couldn’t resist adding a wine colored lipstick either. And of course, a pendant necklace, my necklace style of choice.

Anyone else crushing on cardigans this fall? Or is there another trend you’re totally digging?
