…of Skirt Week, relax.

Well, here we are: Skirt Week, Day 5. I wrapped things up on a classic note: the pencil skirt. I dressed it down a little by pairing it with this embroidered top that used to be my grandmother’s. The fit is a bit awkward — short and boxy, but not in an intentional, crop top-y way — and lends itself to only being paired with high-waisted items, of which I have few (pretty much just all the skirts you saw this week!).
On a related note, you may be seeing some more pencil skirts in the future: I recently accepted a full-time job offer as a marketing assistant here in Philadelphia! I’m very excited about the big change, and very grateful for the opportunity. That being said, I don’t start until later this month, so you can bet I’m going back to jeans next week.
