Another scorcher, another skirt from Target. Seeing a pattern here? I’m not complaining about my new sumer uniform (shirt + high-waisted skirt), nor am I going to apologize about my wet hair and shiny skin, because NEWSFLASH: it’s HOT out.

Not too much to talk about here. I work on campus during the weekends (nothing like a 6 a.m. wakeup call on Saturday and Sunday mornings!), but these past couple days, I can’t complain — I get to sit inside an air-conditioned office. Right now, that sounds like a pretty good deal to me.

This outfit isn’t groundbreaking or anything, but I love my hippie-dippy skirt. And it has pockets — pockets, people! It’s a shame that I haven’t figured out how to do better close-ups or anything, because I feel like my accessories tie this look together a bit. My brown skinny belt’s buckle matches the ones on my sandals, which I bought in Key West this past winter. (Remember that — winter?!) I added pink rosebud earrings (similar to the ones I wore here) and a pretty jade pendant.
