Disney finally released the trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, the fourth film in the series. Take a look:

One thing you should know is that I absolutely adore this franchise, from the moment I saw the first trailers for The Curse of the Black Pearl. The first film captured everything that I love about moviemaking. A lackluster third installment ruined a lot of the magic, but watching this new trailer, I feel it’s back.

The characters. Heroes. Villains. The romance. The action. The mystery. The supernatural. The humor. The sexual innuendo. The dynamic score. The breathtaking scenery. The intricate art direction, set and costume design.

I’m positively giddy with excitement. Is it May 20 yet?
