A couple weekends ago, my friends and I celebrated Friendsgiving. It was so much fun catching up with my girlfriends, and the food wasn’t too bad either. (I made this pumpkin cheesecake.) It was my first time celebrating Friensgiving, and since our actual Thanksgiving is so casual (think yoga pants casual), I took the opportunity to dress up a little. It was another one of those warmer fall days so I went tight-less. (Come back, mild weather!)
This is one of those dresses I tend to pull out during the fall — I last blogged it November two years ago! For Friendsgiving, I kept things simple, and wore it backwards (I think — there’s no tags) for a high neckline to pair with this chain necklace. The necklace is definitely a statement piece, but I like this more subtle, unexpected pairing.
I hope everyone who’s celebrating enjoys their Thanksgiving and (hopefully!) long weekend. Remember to enjoy it, and keep your Thanksgiving outfit food baby friendly.
