We’re at the final stretch! It’s already mid-December somehow, so that’s crazy. Anyway, on to the clothes. Technically, the only piece of clothing I purchased last month was this red H&M dress. (Ignore the shadow that looks like a stain and the lighting that makes it look pink — it’s a true holiday red.) I wasn’t planning on buying a new dress for Christmas, but I am going to a holiday party soon and I have a hard time resisting a skater dress, especially if it’s affordable with a fun texture that kicks it up a notch.
The necklace was sort of an impulsive purchase at boutique in Old City. My blogger friend Jessie from Trend Hungry also curates and sells vintage jewelry and supporting a friend is a great excuse to buy pretty (and versatile) jewelry. My most practical purchase? My reversible tote, inspired by Madewell’s transport tote. It’s not exactly effortless to turn it inside out, so I’ve mostly been wearing it with the black side out. Definitely my new go-to bag for work.
One last budget post to go in 2014!!
