Global Print Skirt

So unlike yesterday’s featured skirt, this is an example of what not to wear to a picnic, though it did the trick for a quick meal at Applebee’s with Nick and his mom.

This skirt (ok, technically it’s a beach cover-up!) always feels a little bit shorter to me than it looks, so I like to stay covered up where I can. When I styled this in the fall, I wore riding boots, and this time I opted for a denim jacket. Gray’s one of my favorite neutrals, but I think next time I’ll try a little harder for some more color and less denim. Any ideas?

And if you were wondering how to add just a hint of some girliness in an outfit, ballet flats do the trick, always.
