Denim Jacket – Easy Pickins (similar); Tank – Old Navy (girls’ section, similar); Skirt – Five Below (similar); Flats – Burlington (similar).
So unlike yesterday’s featured skirt, this is an example of what not to wear to a picnic, though it did the trick for a quick meal at Applebee’s with Nick and his mom.
This skirt (ok, technically it’s a beach cover-up!) always feels a little bit shorter to me than it looks, so I like to stay covered up where I can. When I styled this in the fall, I wore riding boots, and this time I opted for a denim jacket. Gray’s one of my favorite neutrals, but I think next time I’ll try a little harder for some more color and less denim. Any ideas?
And if you were wondering how to add just a hint of some girliness in an outfit, ballet flats do the trick, always.
P.S. These photos looked better to me on Safari than on Chrome, so I’m not sure what’s up with that! Rude.
