Happy October! I can’t believe how quickly September went by, but before it was gone, my friend Lizzy and I squeezed in some apple picking. I’ve never gone before, so I was super excited!
We went to Linvilla Orchards in Delaware County and had a great time scavenging for apples and wandering the bakery at the market. Minus all the traffic, it was a fun way to spend an early fall Saturday.
So excited to pick my first apple!
Baby Apple! P.S. Thanks for the bracelet, Nancy!
I was fascinated by these pie candles!
These printed pots would be a great DIY project!
It was a beautiful day out too! Warm in the sunshine, but cool in the shade. Please stay like this as long as possible, Autumn.
Denim Jacket – Easy Pickins (similar); Striped Tee – Joe Fresh (similar); Shorts – K-Mart (similar); Sneakers – Payless (similar).
It was warm enough to justify shorts so I grabbed this linen pair from K-Mart. To keep with the casual vibe, I grabbed this pink striped shirt, from Joe Fresh’s fitness line. (I love this shade of pink). A light denim jacket (I’ve found a medium wash works best with my closet) and slip-on sneakers completed my apple picking outfit.
Any fun apple picking stories? What do you wear on your early fall adventures?
