This is not what I wore on Valentine’s Day, though I guess it is borderline festive. I wore this on Wednesday to the Valentine’s Day party we held for the mentoring program I work with. It’s a winterized version of one color-blocked outfit I wore this summer. That’s one trend I hope sticks around, along with Peter Pan collars. This is my first one, and I don’t wear it as much as I’d like because I find the fabric a bit stiff. I’m hoping to buy another one – a softer one for sure – come spring, maybe in yellow to throw on with jeans and the like.

My friends had a debate on the color of my jeans – mint or seafoam? It’s hard to decide with the poor quality of my photos anyway, but I lean aquamarine. This sweater is also more on the pastel side than it seems here. I’m a big fan – it’s super cozy, though this outfit doesn’t photograph too flattering. I’m kind of ok with that though, as long as I get to wear my colored jeans.
