It’s cold out there, y’all. Wearing 3-4 layers is becoming second nature. And weather.com tells me there’s a “historic, crippling blizzard” coming my way. Sweet. Actually, I don’t mind as long as my bus doesn’t have issues getting to D.C., where I’ll be spending the weekend with some friends from home. The weather there will be relatively pleasant – sunny and windy. I choose to focus on the sunshine part.
Now the question is, what to pack? When it comes to dealing with “winter” I prefer function over fashion. Comfort is key. This new plaid shirt is warm, and it’s easy to layer underneath without adding too much bulk. Skinny jeans and boots are essential. And my Fordham beanie? Three words: bad hair day. The wind and dryness are wrecking havoc on my color-treated hair. Spring please?
What do you wear on the coldest days?
