Fashion Inspiration: Giant’s Causeway

I’m continuing my European-inspired Fashion Inspiration posts with Giant’s Causeway, the most popular tourist location in Northern Ireland. My friend Nancy is studying abroad in Dublin and said Giant’s Causeway was one of her favorite places she visited. The site was created by an ancient volcanic explosion, which left 40,000 interlocking columns that act as stepping stones.

Fashion Inspiration - Giant's Causeway

I couldn’t create an outfit based on Giant’s Causeway without including different textures and gorgeous earth tones. I started with this mossy green cable-knit sweater. I decided to keep this a more casual look, because it is based on a natural landscape. That’s why I added skinny cargo leggings (I’d love a pair to mix in with my skinny jeans!) and brown combat boots. I added a stone necklace as another nod to Giant’s Causeway’s rougher (but still stunning) landscape, and a crossbody bag in ocean blue.

What do you think of the inspiration and outfit? Any other sites you’d like to see?
